Our state-of-the art facility provides producers with a great environment to produce programs about their interests, experiences, and concerns for all of New Bedford to see. The NBTV95 staff is always on hand to assist community producers in any way. Check out our photo gallery for a look at some of our activites.

NBTV95 provides New Bedford residents and organizations a means to produce a wide variety of cable television programs about their experiences, concerns, and interests. It is hoped that residents and organizations in New Bedford will take full advantage of this public electronic medium for free expression.

NBTV95 is housed in a state-of-the art cable access building located in the far South End of New Bedford overlooking Buzzard’s Bay. Our facility consists of two fully functional studios, three editing suites, and multiple portable equipment set-ups. We share our studios with New Bedford Government and Educational Access Television.

NBTV95 strives to provide outreach to all segments of our multi-cultural and multi-lingual community, ascertaining areas of programming needs, and assessing community response to public access programming.

NBTV95 provides a comprehensive training program to assist New Bedford residents and organizations produce quality local cable television programming. NBTV95 hit the "cable" waves March 20, 1995 broadcasting over channel 47. In August of 1997, MediaOne revamped the local cable line-up and switched our location to channel 98.

NBTV95 is funded through an annual grant from Comcast and is one three cable access channels operated by the City of New Bedford. NBTV95 is managed by the Public Access Director for the City of New Bedford.
