Councilor Bruce Duarte Jr. lives in Ward 4 with his wife Michelle and their children. They own a home at 804 Kempton Street. Bruce was educated in New Bedford Public Schools and graduated from New Bedford High School. Bruce has furthered his education by taking courses in Management and graduated from the Professional Career Development Institute. For the past 15 years he has worked in the Law Enforcement field at the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office as a Correctional Officer, and also works as a Mental Health Assistant at the Fellowship Health Resources.
