Can
you read 50 books in a year? Come join
our 50 Book Challenge!
The
Challenge runs from December 13, 2010 to December 10, 2011. All you have to do is read 50 books within
that time. We don't care what you read
or where you get it from, as long as it's not a newspaper, magazine or
chidren's book. You can read any adult
or young adult fiction or nonfiction, in any format: printed, audio, graphic
novel or e-book.
You
must register at any New Bedford library.
You don't have to live in New Bedford, but you do have to register in
person and be at least 18. When you
register, you'll receive a book log in which to record the books you've
read. When you're done reading - whether
that takes 6 weeks, 6 months or a year - bring that log back to the library. You'll receive a small reward at that time,
and you'll be entered into a drawing for bigger prizes at the end of the
challenge year.
