AMENDED HDC RULES AND REGULATIONS: Effective May 19, 2007 amended rules and regulations went into effect. Please make sure you receive a copy of the new rules handbook. Booklets are available at the HDC office.

TRASH SERVICE: Trash service will be reinstated on HDC piers and wharves . The HDC began construction of a trash facility on Leonard's Wharf expected to be complete by the end of June. This facility will be available to HDC facility users only. It will be locked during non-operational hours and manned during operational hours. The HDC plans to install cameras to secure the facility. Any unauthorized use of the facility or dumping of illegal waste will result in a $500 fine to be strictly enforced.

WORKING WATERFRONT FESTIVAL:The Working Waterfront Festival team gears up for its 5th annual festival to be held Sept. 27 & 28, 2008. The Festival provides a unique opportunity for the public get a first hand look at the culture and traditions of the commercial fishing industry. The Festival was one of only three events in Massachusetts to be voted one of the Top 100 Events in North America by the American Bus Association for 2007. There is no entrance fee for the festival.
