Annual February Vacation Camp

New Bedford, Massachusetts – The Andrea McCoy Recreation Center is now enrolling students for their annual February Vacation Camp. The February Vacation camp runs Monday February 15 – Friday, February 19, 2016. For the weekly cost of $120.00 for residents or $160.00 for non-residents, parents can enroll their children in a camp like experience from 8am – 4pm, Monday through Friday. A morning snack and lunch will be provided daily. Throughout the week, students will participate in educational and recreational activities; they will have the opportunity to go on field trips, participate in science experiments, build a boat with the New Bedford Community Boating Club, and celebrate Presidents Day with activities and games.

Interested parents may register their children at the Andrea McCoy Recreation Center, located at 181 Hillman Street, New Bedford, MA 02740. Parents may also reserve a seat for their child by visiting the City of New Bedford website and completing a registration form on the Parks, Recreation & Beaches page under the programs tab. If registering two children at once, a sibling discount is available at 50% for the second child’s enrollment.
