GENERAL INFORMATION
Responsibilities of Participants:
- Make any unusual requests regarding rooms or meals when making your reservations
- Read over the material provided for an overnight trip to make certain that no changes have occured and to respond to the office for any requested information
- Make certain the check is properly filled out and sent to the office in a timely manner
- Keep the office posted on any address or phone number changes
- Keep the office posted on any prescription or medical changes
- Ensure that there is a current medical form on file for the traveler
- Arrive at the departure point twenty minutes prior to departure
Parking at the pick-up stops is done at your own risk. The property owner of the pick-up stops and the City of New Bedford are not responsible for any damages that could occur.
Pick-up-Points - your travel departure points vary depending on the trip.
One-day tours will depart from the following New Bedford locations:
- South End - Benny's Store on Dartmouth Street
- Downtown/Center - New Bedford Hotel Apartments on Pleasant Street
- North End - Stop & Shop on King's Highway
All overnight tours depart from:
- Stop & Shop on King's Highway
- New Bedford Hotel Apartments on Pleasant Street
These are the only pick-up and drop-off points. Participants are reminded to arrive at the bus at least 20 minutes prior to the departure time.
Payments and Cancellation Policies
Cancellations are accepted until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, 2 weeks prior to tour to receive a full refund. If cancellation is made within the 2 week period, and we cannot resell your seat, your payment will be non-refundable. Your full payments are due 5 weeks before trip takes place. If payment is not received within 10 days from notice of date due, your reservation will be cancelled.
Credits are not carried toward other trips. If appropriate, refunds shall be mailed.
Overnight cancellations varry depending on the agency. check with the office. |
