Annual Action Plan
The City of New Bedford’s Department of Planning, Housing & Community Development
is beginning its Annual Action Plan process.
The Annual Action Plan explains and discusses available funding from the following federal programs:
Community Development Block Grant, Emergency Solutions Grant and the HOME Program
and speaks to the housing and community development needs of lower income people
within the City of New Bedford, addressing how that funding will be effectively be used in FY2018.
The first step is hearing from you!
Two community forums will be held for this purpose:
January 9, 2018 at Carney Academy, 247 Elm Street from 6pm – 7.30pm
January 10, 2018 at the Dept of Planning Housing & Community Development, 608 Pleasant Street from 6pm – 7.30pm
If you are interested in applying for these funds, an RFP Workshop is being held
January 12, 2018 at the Dept of Planning Housing & Community Development, 608 Pleasant Street:
9am for CDBG funding RFPs and at 10am for ESG funding RFPs
