What Can I Recycle?

METAL CANS

GLASS

  • Includes clear and colored glass food and drink containers
  • Rinse all containers
  • Remove caps and lids and discard
  • Only paper labels may remain
  • No broken glass, pane glass or light bulbs

#1 through #7 PLASTIC CONTAINERS

  • Includes milk jugs, detergent bottles, shampoo bottles and clear liter soda bottles
  • Rinse all containers
  • Remove caps and lids and discard
  • No styrofoam accepted

PAPER

  • Includes newspaper, magazines, catalogs, office paper, junk mail, phone books, flat cardboard and corrugated cardboard (no larger than 2 feet by 3 feet)
  • All cardboard boxes should be flattened

How Do I Recycle?

Recyclables are picked up on your regular garbage day each week. Bins should be set out by 7:00 am (or put it out the night before).
