What Can I Recycle?
METAL CANS
GLASS
- Includes clear and colored glass food and beverage
containers
- Rinse all containers
- Remove caps and lids and discard
- Only paper labels may remain
- No broken glass, pane glass or light bulbs
#1 through #7
PLASTIC CONTAINERS
- Includes food and beverage bottles, containers, and jugs, detergent bottles, and shampoo bottles
- Rinse all containers
- Remove caps and lids and discard
- No styrofoam accepted
PAPER
- Includes newspaper, magazines, catalogs, office paper, junk mail, phone books, thin cardboard, e.g., cereal boxes and corrugated cardboard (no larger than 2 feet by 3 feet)
- Flatten all cardboard boxes
How Do I Recycle?
Recyclables are picked up on your regular garbage day
each week. Bins should be set out by 7:00 a.m. (or put it out the night
before after 5:00 p.m.). Place bottles and cans into one bin and paper and cardboard into a separate bin.
