Appeal Process

You can appeal a parking violation from New Bedford only within 21 days of the issue date of the ticket. You can appeal one of two ways:

1. In writing, submit name/address/telephone number and the reason you feel you are not responsible (must be received within 21 days of the issue date of the violation)
2. Request a formal scheduled hearing by calling the Parking Clerk’s Office/Office of the Traffic Commission at 508-961-3153, within 21 days of the issue date of the violation
