SRTA DEMAND RESPONSE
The Demand Response Service is a curb-to-curb service for those individuals who are unable to use the regular buses that operate on a fixed route and time schedule. It is a comparable service to the Authority’s fixed route service. If a person can use a regular bus they do not meet the requirements for this service. They must use regular buses, but may apply for a reduced rate on these buses. (Distance from a fixed route bus route does not make one eligible for demand response service).
The Photo ID program serves New Bedford residents 59 years+ and municipal employees.
