Business Cardboard Collection

Cardboard is collected weekly from businesses. Cardboard should be clean, flattened and consolidated by placing smaller boxes into larger boxes. Cardboard should be free of plastic, Styrofoam or other packaging.

The collection days are the following:

Monday – Downtown/West End
Tuesday – South End
Friday – North End

Place cardboard at the curb by 8:00 am and no earlier than 5:00 am on the day of collection.

Holidays that alter the Business Cardboard Collection day:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • Presidents Day
  • Patriots’ Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth
  • Independence Day – 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Columbus Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

*If one of the above holidays is on a Monday, the Monday and Tuesday collections are delayed by one day. If one of the above holidays is on a Tuesday, the Tuesday collection is delayed by one day. In both of those cases, the Friday collection remains on Friday.

*If the holiday is on a Friday, the business cardboard is delayed by one day and will be collected on the Saturday after the holiday.
