Mayor Jon Mitchell to deliver annual State of the City address virtually

Address delivered virtually via Zoom and Facebook Live

New Bedford, Massachusetts – For the second consecutive year, due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns, Mayor Jon Mitchell will deliver his annual State of the City address virtually, via Zoom and Facebook Live.

The address will be hosted by One SouthCoast Chamber and will be aired live at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, via a Zoom meeting hosted by the Chamber.

Residents, the public and members of the media are invited to register for the Zoom meeting or watch via Facebook Live on the One SouthCoast page.

The address will be filmed live by New Bedford Cable Network at their studios in the South End, and re-broadcast on television, shared on YouTube, and promoted on city social media channels. Registration for the Chamber Zoom meeting is available here:
