FY2025 Proposed Values for Public Disclosure
The City of New Bedford has completed the state-required five-year revaluation of all real and personal property located within the bounds of the City. The FY 2025 property values are based on market analysis of comparative market sales and income and expense data with an assessment date of January 1, 2024.
As part of the five-year revaluation process it is required that the Board of Assessors post the proposed new values for public review, this is being done PENDING PRELIMINARY CERTIFICATION BY THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE.
The proposed FY 2025 property values will be available for review on the City of New Bedford website (link below) beginning Friday, November 15, 2024- Thursday, November 21, 2024. They will also be available at each branch of the public library. The hours for the main library are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday; Friday and Saturday 9:00AM to 5:00 PM. They will be subject to review for a period of five business days.
