Requests for Proposals (RFP) / Invitations for Bids (IFB)

The City of New Bedford is excited to have recently joined the Massachusetts Purchasing Group and will be publishing most solicitations through the online platform BidNet Direct. The platform allows vendors to download and submit bids/proposals electronically on City projects at no cost to the vendor. Vendors must register to gain access and to be notified of current and upcoming solicitations.

Note for projects accepting hard copy submissions- All proposals/bids must be addressed to Purchasing Department, 133 William Street, Room 208, New Bedford, MA 02740 only. Please mark the exterior of all submitted proposals in the manner directed within the bid documents. To facilitate the bid opening process, all bidders are requested to also email purchasing@newbedford-ma.gov to confirm that they have submitted a proposal.
